This the Family Plus team at Forward Leeds will run a briefing on 'Hidden Harm' which is open to any practitioner working in Leeds.

The session will take place online on Thursday 25th June between 2-3:15pm and will raise awareness of the issues affecting the children of substance users, whilst increasing practitioners' confidence in spotting signs and offering support.

Take a moment to appreciate the incredible noticeboard on Gypsy, Roma and Traveller History Month made and led by our Respect@Barca staff group.

In their effort to raise awareness, they have covered subjects such as mental health, physical health and negotiated stopping as it relates to Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities, as well as debunking myths and stereotypes.

The theme for is ‘Building Carer Friendly Communities' - which highlights the power of a carer-inclusive society and the positive difference this can make to carers’ lives.

Throughout this week, will connect carers with support across communities, workplaces and health and social care settings. Their programme includes a money guidance workshop, a bereaved carers’ trip to St Aidan’s RSPB reserve, and attendance at events across Leeds.
