Groundwork Yorkshire

Groundwork Yorkshire Groundwork Yorkshire has been working for 30 years where we’re needed most – on the ground in communities, delivering hundreds of projects every year.

At Groundwork Yorkshire we are passionate about creating a future where every neighbourhood is vibrant and green and able to shape its own destiny, where every community is strong and no-one is held back by their background or circumstances. We provide training and create jobs, reduce energy and waste, re-connect people with nature and transform whole neighbourhoods. Step by step we’ll go on chang

ing places and changing lives until everywhere is vibrant and green, every community is strong enough to shape its own destiny and everyone has the opportunity to reach their potential.

We were lucky enough to be joined today by 2 young ladies teaching the group netball. it went down really well and kids enjoyed learning different throwing techniques and aiming for the net with some brilliant scores. We managed to have a picnic outside, thanks to St Vincent's Centre, Leeds , under the shelter of the tree before rain meant that we took shelter in the café to play uno, double, and colouring. Thanks to funding from Wade's Charity for making this happen
