From humble beginnings in 1958 with the first Jinnah Mosque on Leopold Street, Leeds’ Muslim community has grown into a vibrant and diverse ummah. Through decades of service, from Spencer Place expansions to the grand new mosque completed in 2001, Leeds Islamic Centre continues to serve as a beacon of worship, education, and community for Muslims across the city.
