St Gemma’s Hospice Community Services is seeking an experienced, compassionate and registered nurse to provide operational leadership to our Community Specialist Palliative Care Team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded community service and play a key role in supporting the delivery of safe, responsive, equitable and person-centred specialist palliative and end of life care for patients, families and carers across the community.

We’re looking for someone with significant specialist palliative care experience, senior clinical leadership experience and a passion for developing teams and delivering high-quality care.

📍 This role involves travelling across community settings and working flexibly over seven days, where required.

Every year, members of 5 Star Fitness take on a challenge in memory of Joe Turner, raising vital funds for St Gemma’s Hospice and keeping Joe’s memory at the heart of everything they do.

This year, more than 32 members took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge, raising an incredible £9,143.26 for St Gemma’s! 🎉

And over the past three years, the 5 Star Fitness community has raised a phenomenal £18,887.21 in Joe’s memory.

We’re so incredibly grateful to everyone who has taken part, donated, cheered the team on and helped make this special annual tradition possible.

It’s a wonderful way to remember Joe while making a difference to local patients and their families💜

We can’t wait to see what next year’s challenge brings!
