The NSPCC YBN is proud to support two incredible local champions, Nick & Simon, as they take on the Sheffield 10K on 28th September, raising vital funds to help end cruelty to children.

🏅 Nick: The “adopted child of Yorkshire,” passionate about volunteering and community work, never one to shy away from a challenge. Volunteering at Bluebell Wood hospice, leading social impact projects, and always ready to represent Yorkshire with pride.

🏋️‍♂️ Simon: Born and bred in Sheffield, a true community spirit who’s swapped weights for trainers to take on his first big run! Driving mental health awareness, supporting local charities, and turning his UK Strongman strength into stamina for a cause that matters.

Last Sunday, the Yorkshire Business Network proudly marched in the Leeds Pride Parade in support of our charity partner, the NSPCC. We stand for every child, every identity, and every future. 🏳️‍🌈

During the parade, we connected with incredible local businesses and raised awareness about the essential work the NSPCC does to protect children across Yorkshire. This is what community looks like - diverse, united, and driven by purpose.

✨ 2 weeks since our fantastic launch event, again a huge thank you to everyone who joined us, it was a fantastic evening launching the Yorkshire Business Network ✨

We’re so grateful to our inspiring speakers who shared their powerful stories and insights — reminding us why protecting children must remain at the heart of everything we do.
Another huge thankyou to for being such fantastic hosts for our event.

We were so proud to bring together business leaders, advocates, and supporters who believe in driving meaningful change through connection and community. The energy in the room was truly inspiring, and it’s just the beginning of what we can achieve together.
