Friends of Ninelands PTA Friends of Ninelands PTA page - please share! We hold several fundraising events each year to raise money for the school. Thank you!

Friends of Ninelands (also known as FON) are a group of parents, grandparents and teachers from Ninelands Primary School, in Garforth, Leeds. But we really want to be able to do more and to buy other beneficial and much needed equipment and improvements for the children. So this year we are holding more fundraising events than ever! Final call for sponsorship money! ParentPay closes at midnight tonight. ⏰

So far we have 2 classes that have crossed the £500 threshold to get a visit from the ice cream van, and there are 4 more that are INCREDIBLY close 🤗🤗 (all less than £50 away)

Thank you so much to everyone who has paid so far, the money raised will make such a positive impact on our school.

Just dropping this here now before we all disappear for the summer and start buying new bits for September.

The FON have a fundraising account with Stikins, which means that if you order your school clothing/items labels through their website, and enter the fundraiisng number 7739, then the FON get a 30% commission on all sales. (This is not added on to what you pay)

We didn't think this would add up to much but then got a really lovely cheque through the post last year which basically covered a huge chunk of our Christmas selection boxes, so definitely worth doing.

It's time to get that sponsorship money in!

We hope everyone that took part had a fabulous time at the colour run on Friday, the photos we have seen so far have been brilliant. We have just over a week to get all of the sponsorship money in - please don't bring cash to school, you can just transfer it via parentpay - it's on there now. Remember - every class that collectively raises £500 will get to visit the ice cream van in school (we have lowered this amount for our 2 classes with really low numbers of children to make it fair)

We are fundraising for an outdoor canopy that will mean the forest school can be used all year round, and we hope to have enough left over to buy another 30 x i-pads for the school so that we have a set in each of the school buildings.

There's no need to send the sponsorship forms back in, we don't need them, they were just for you to help keep track.

We’d love to see your photos from the event yesterday - but please only share if you have permission from all parents/carers/children.

🌈🎉 Our very first Colour Run is almost here! 🎉🌈

We can’t wait to see hundreds of children racing through clouds of colour, laughing, getting messy and making amazing memories! 💙💛💚❤️

We’ll also have food, drinks and stalls, making it a fantastic evening out for the whole family. And with the weather looking lovely, it’s shaping up to be an amazing event! ☀️

Wristbands for the colur run.

Entry for the colour run has been removed from Parentpay - this was to give us time to print a list of all those who have already paid and envelope-up the participants' wristbands ready to hand out in school on Friday.

We've had a flurry of panicked parents saying they have not yet paid but still intend to take part. Please don't worry. We have asked school to put it back onto ParentPay, so you should be able to purchase before Friday, however....

wristbands will be available to purchase on the day from the FON stall AND in the KS1 playground near the warm up area, but please be mindful that these will cost £2 rather than £1 on parentpay and are subject to availability of how much powder we have left (another reason why we ask for payment in advance)

If you have purchased a wristband for a nursery child not usually in on Friday, their wristband will be waiting for them at a table in the KS1 area near the warm up session. If you purchase online between now and Friday, you might not have an envelope ready for you, but just show your receipt from ParentPay and you'll be able to collect one.

Any questions or problems, I will have a full list of people paid and will be lurking in that area so just come and find me.

Please see below the donations needed from each class - our hampers will be made up of all donations brought into school next Wednesday (1st July).

Bottles/chocolate will be shared amongst the hampers and added to our tombola stall.

AMAZING RAFFLE PRIZE ALERT!!🛎️🛎️🎉

Our friends from Green Room Leeds have very generously donated a £100 bar tab voucher for our colour run raffle.

To give everyone a fair chance of winning this, it will be our first prize drawn on Thursday 9th July before we draw for the rest of the rainbow raffle hampers.

Tickets for the raffle can be purchased on ParentPay up until Monday 6th, and paper tickets will be available on our FON stall on the day of the colour run.
