Yesterday’s UBUNTU – Humanity Towards Others showcase in Leeds (Northern Ballet) was truly unforgettable! 🌍✨

Tribhangi delivered one of the most powerful and electrifying performances I’ve ever experienced — blending culture, storytelling, and raw emotion in a way that moved everyone in the room 💫.

This wasn’t just dance… it was a clebration of unity, identity, and shared humanity. The message of Ubuntu — “I am because we are” — is something we must continue to carry with us every day. 🤝❤️

A big thank you to Kikwetu and all partners for bringing such an inspiring, high-quality production to life. Moments like these remind us of the beauty of coming together as one community. 🌟

Let’s keep embracing Ubuntu 🙌🏾

🎬 Kikwetu x Hyde Park Picture House – New Community Opportunities!
We’re thrilled to be partnering with Hyde Park Picture House to bring film, culture, and community experiences to our Kenyan community in Leeds. This is part of our mission to diversify Kikwetu activities and create spaces for connection, storytelling, and family-friendly experiences.
Here are some opportunities coming up 👇🏾

🇰🇪 Kenyan Film Collaboration (Summer 2026)
We’re planning a Kenyan film screening event once a new Kenyan film currently being produced by filmmaker Ciru is released.
This could become a community cinema event celebrating Kenyan stories and culture. If other Kenyan films become available, we’ll also explore bringing them to our community.
