🌱💚 Growing Together, Growing Kikwetu! 🥬🌿
Our gardening group has been going steady, and we couldn’t be prouder! 💃🏾🌱 Yesterday, we harvested some fresh spinach from our allotment — and what a joy it was to enjoy vegetables we’ve grown together! 🥬🤏🏾❤️
But our garden is about so much more than growing food. It’s a space to connect, share, learn, laugh and build meaningful community. 🌱🤝🏾😊
At Kikwetu — meaning “our way” — we’re inspired to do things our way, embracing, celebrating and nurturing who we are, together. 🌍❤️
Here’s to growing food, friendships and a stronger community — one seed at a time! 🌱✨

Good afternoon Kikwetu Fam 👋🏾🇰🇪

We have an important update!

Our event has been moved to Saturday, 10th October 2026 due to unavoidable circumstances. We’ll also be celebrating Mashujaa Day, so it’s now Kikwetu Mashujaa Jamii Day! 🎉🇰🇪

A huge thank you 🙏🏾 to everyone who has already booked and paid. If you haven’t yet, we encourage you to secure your place and be part of this special family celebration.

Kikwetu is about celebrating who we are, our Kenyan heritage, our connections and each other. ❤️🇰🇪

We want this to be a day created by us, for us—so please share your ideas on how we can make it spectacular! 🎶🍛💃🏾

🎉 Reach out to our Secretary or any of the Kikwetu leaders with your suggestions.

And if you’re unable to attend but would still like to support, donations are warmly welcome. Every contribution helps us make the day even more memorable. 🙏🏾

Let’s come together, book your place, contribute your ideas and make Kikwetu Mashujaa Jamii Day one to remember!
