We would like to say a huge thank you to Harley and to everybody who donated and supported this incredible marathon challenge ❤️

Thanks to your generosity, an amazing £1,456 has been raised for Foundation Hubz to help support young people who have grown up in and out of the care system as they transition into adulthood.

Harley showed unbelievable determination throughout the marathon. After suffering a trapped nerve just 6 kilometres in, passing out at the top of Otley Hill, and then collapsing again at the finish line, Harley still managed to complete the marathon in an incredible time of 3 hours 44 minutes.

We are beyond grateful for the support, resilience, and commitment shown for our cause. Every donation will help us continue providing stability, guidance, support, and opportunities to young people who need it most.

Thank you again to everyone involved — we truly appreciate every single one of you.

This Sunday, one of the Youth Hubz family will be taking on the Leeds Marathon in support of an incredible cause. 🏃‍♂️

Gary’s son is running the Leeds Marathon to raise money for Foundation Hubz — a charity dedicated to supporting young people who have experienced the care system and helping them transition into adulthood with stability, guidance, and ongoing support.

At Youth Hubz, we see the importance of this work every single day. Many young people leaving care face significant challenges, and charities like Foundation Hubz help provide the consistency, encouragement, and opportunities they deserve.

World Book Day at Care Hubz and Youth Hubz last week was full of Winnie the Pooh magic 🍯🐻

Ellie and Chloe have been seriously preparing for Pancake Day… although we didn’t realise it would involve redecorating the ceiling 👀😂🥞

Safe to say the flipping skills are still a work in progress but the passion for making change is 10/10 💪

At our Care and Youth Hubz Pancake Day Event, we’re mixing it up with pancakes and powerful conversations, creating space for young people to shape what’s next. Because when young people speak, we listen. And when we listen, change happens.

From toys and treats for children to thoughtful items for the elderly, your generosity overflowed and this week, our amazing staff who braved the wet weather delivered the donations to this year’s chosen charities: Mission Christmas – Cash for Kids and a local organisation who supports elderly people in their own homes.
