👨‍🍳Our budding baker has been busy in the café's kitchen today. 🍰

Curtis got stuck in baking a vanilla and strawberry sponge cake and did a brilliant job from start to finish! 🍓 It smelled delicious and the finished result looks fantastic 😍

We're open and serving fresh bakes Wednesdays - Fridays - come and support the café if you're in the area. ☕💛

On Sunday, 31st May, will be holding their popular annual plant sale and we'll be there! 🪴🌻

There will be edible and ornamental plants for sale, grown by the Hollybush Project and Health and Wellbeing team, as well as woodwork, garden crafts and kids activities!

We will open for the day, serving drinks and light bites and delicious treats. ☕🍰

We're recruiting volunteers to join our friendly teams across both of our amazing cafés 💛

Our volunteers support adults with Down syndrome in their café roles, helping build confidence, independence, and valuable life skills. It’s a hands-on, rewarding role where no two days are the same.

You might be:
☕ Supporting with café tasks and customer service
🥪 Helping with food prep & barista coffee making
🧼 Keeping the space welcoming and running smoothly
🤝 Encouraging our team members to grow in confidence and independence

👀We’re looking for positive, supportive people who enjoy being part of a team and making a difference in their community. Training will be provided.

💙We are especially in need of someone who could support at Café 21 at TCV Hollybush on Wednesdays from 10:00am – 3:00pm, so if you'd like a meaningful way to spend your Wednesdays - we’d love to hear from you! 💙

Can you lend a hand at Café 21?

On Sunday 31st May, the very popular plant sale is back at TCV Hollybush Conservation Centre 🪴 and we would love to have Cafe 21 open, but we need a team of volunteers to help us! 🙏

🕚 We need people from 10:45am to around 4pm. Our team would be very grateful for your help!

📣Volunteers needed please!

Could you spare some time to help out in Cafe 21 at Hollybush during the TCV Hollybush Potato Day and Seed Swap?

🗓️ Sunday 22nd February
🕒 Between 10.45 and 4pm. Any time you are able to spare would be greatly appreciated. 🙏

✳️ We will need a minimum of 5 people at any one time during the day as it’s a really popular and busy event! ✳️

🥔 Potato Day is an annual celebration at TCV Hollybush. They will have 16 different varieties of seed potatoes to buy, a super seed swap, fire-baked potatoes and kids activities, including everyone's favourite... Dress the Potato!
