AGC is feeling very proud this morning after the Yorkshire Gymnastics Association Awards ceremony last night. Our club won “Medium Sized Club of the Year!”
Charlotte won a “Special Recognition” award and was nominated in the” Lifetime Achievement” category,
Isaac won “Young Leader of the Year.”
Emily was nominated and shortlisted in the “Senior Gymnast of the Year” category.
General Gymnastics (which is the discipline we compete under) also won “Gymnastics Discipline of the Year. “
What a lovely evening to celebrate with other coaches and officials from across the county all that we love about our sport!
And as the pictures show our team scrubs up ok once out of joggers and T-shirts!

Due to popular demand, we’ve expanded our Tumble Programme and now have spaces available across our Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced groups.

• 4:45pm - 5:30pm Beginner Tumble

• 8:45am - 9:30am Beginner Tumble
• 10:45am - 11:45am Intermediate Tumble
• 11:45am - 12:45pm Advanced Tumble

Class Requirements
⭐ Beginner Tumble Suitable for gymnasts who can confidently perform: • Forward roll • Backwards roll• Cartwheel

⭐ Intermediate Tumble Suitable for gymnasts who can confidently perform: • One handed cartwheel • Handstand • Bridge

⭐ Advanced Tumble Suitable for gymnasts working or competing at a higher level and able to confidently perform: • Round off • Forward walkover • Back walkover

Our tumble classes focus on developing strength, flexibility, technique and confidence, helping gymnasts progress their floor and tumbling skills in a fun and supportive environment.

✨ Meet Coach Molly! ✨
Some of you may have already met Molly at our Summer Camps, and we’re delighted to officially welcome her to the Aireborough Gymnastics Club coaching team! 🤸‍♀️

Molly brings lots of enthusiasm, energy and a passion for helping gymnasts develop their skills and confidence. She’ll be working across a number of our classes and is looking forward to getting to know all our gymnasts and families.

We’re also pleased to announce that Molly will be offering 1:1 coaching sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays.
These sessions are a great opportunity for gymnasts to focus on specific skills, work towards personal goals, and receive individualised coaching support.

📣 Gymnastics Returns Tonight! 🤸‍♀️🤸‍♂️
We hope everyone has had a fantastic summer and enjoyed the break! We’re excited to be starting back tonight and can’t wait to welcome both familiar faces and new members to Aireborough Gymnastics Club.

Before you come along, please remember:
✅ Wear suitable clothing for gymnastics
✅ Remove all jewellery before the session
✅ If ears have been recently pierced, earrings must be covered with tape/plasters
✅ Long hair must be tied back securely
✅ Bring a water bottle

🌟 NEW AUTUMN TERM 1:1 SESSIONS! 🌟

We’re excited to announce that Aireborough Gymnastics Club has added brand‑new 1:1 sessions this autumn!
These 30‑minute personalised sessions give your child the chance to work one‑on‑one with one of our coaches on a specific skill of their choice — tailored to their gymnastics level and capability.

🗓️ Available days:

• Monday
• Wednesday
• Saturday

📅 Maximum of one booking per week.

⚠️ Competition class members: Please speak to us before booking, as it may affect the competitions you can enter.
🤸 Non‑members: You can attend two sessions before needing British Gymnastics insurance for the year.

Due to demand, we’re excited to be adding extra tumbling class times from September!

Whether your child is looking to develop their tumbling skills, improve strength and flexibility, or work towards more advanced tricks, we have classes available for a range of abilities.

Please read the class prerequisites carefully before booking to help determine which level is the most suitable for your child. This ensures everyone is placed in the right class to support their development and enjoy their training.

Being recognised at a county-wide level is a huge honour and reflects the hard work, dedication, and passion shown by our gymnasts, coaches, volunteers, staff, and families every day.
