Open Play sessions at Little Seedlings are for children from birth right through to primary school age — because since when did play have an age limit?

Play is one of the most powerful ways children learn, grow, and develop, and at Little Seedlings, we believe that doesn’t stop at a certain age.

Whether it’s the school holidays, a training day, or you’re home educating, your older children are always welcome to join in the fun, explore, create, and connect.

Open Play sessions run as a PayG basis, either book online to secure your spot OR simply turn up and pay on arrival via cash or card.

✨NEW✨ Connect and Play 🌱

A structured Little Seedlings session for babies and children aged 0–5 years. Designed to support children in feeling part of a group, building connections with others, and being gently guided through play.

We begin our group time at 1:00pm, where we sing hello together and encourage the children to share how they are feeling that day.

The session then moves into structured, non-messy sensory play, followed by guided free-flow messy sensory play.

These sessions are created to remind children of the importance of expressing their feelings, helping them to build confidence in answering questions, communicating with others, and holding simple conversations.

Each session we will explore a new theme and focus on a different area of development, with support from the class leader to explain what the children are learning and gaining through play.

If you feel your child would benefit from a class that offers gentle structure while still encouraging child-led play opportunities, this session could be perfect for you.

Our first session will be Monday 29th June 1:00pm - 2:15pm - spaces to book online.
