When we moved, it was never about changing the way we do things, or changing what you already know and love about Little Seedlings.

We wanted to create a new space that still felt completely, unmistakably Little Seedlings.

A space that emulates everything we have always been and everything we will always be.

A sense of belonging for children, families, play and community.

A space that is now part of the heart of our local community, offering purposeful provision for children from birth+ to learn, explore and grow through play.

And honestly? These might be our current top 6 favourites… but the list could have gone on a lot longer 😬

Introducing Toddler Play…
8M–36M

We now have plenty of Pay As You Go spaces available on our Monday Toddler Play sessions!

✨ Every Monday 1pm-2:15pm ✨

Our current 6-week block has already started, but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out! We now have lots of Pay As You Go spaces available, so you can come along and join us whenever it suits you.

✨ Guided sensory play through natural and open-ended activities
✨ Build your Little Seedlings community through weekly classes
✨ Each week focuses on a different area of development, supporting your little one’s learning through play
✨ A gentle and relaxed space to explore, connect and play together
✨ Some sessions will include outdoor play

How to find us… ✨

Our new address, how to find us, parking and how to get in!

📍 Chapel Allerton Methodist Centre
Town Street, LS7 4NB (directly opposite our previous venue in the Methodist church)

✨Coming by bus? Chapel Allerton is well connected from Leeds City Centre, with the 2, 2A, 3, 3A and 36 running from town, through Chapel Allerton and surrounding areas.

✨Coming by car? There is limited parking in and around Chapel Allerton, but you’ll find plenty of on-street parking around the venue.

✨There’s also a Co-op car park just a 3-minute walk away, offering up to 2 hours’ free parking for Co-op customers. Please check the signage and parking terms when you arrive.

✨When you arrive…
Come through the main doors and press the doorbell on the next door as you enter the building. One of us will be with you shortly to welcome you into our new space.

Remember we’re asking where possible for families to pre-book our sessions as we’re unsure if we will have many, if any PayG spots available once the term starts.

Our new outdoor only sessions will run over the following:

- Tuesday afternoons 1pm-2:15pm
- Friday afternoons 12:30pm-2pm
- Booking in advance for both sessions recommended

* Little reminder that Open Play will include both indoor and outdoor play.

September Baby Play 7M-13M

We are now taking bookings for September Baby Play Classes running over the following days & times…

- Tuesday 10:30am-11:45am
- Wednesday 1:00pm-2:15pm
- Thursday 1:00pm-2:15pm

✨ £56 for the 6 week block
✨ Guided Sensory Play through natural and Open-ended activities
✨ Build your Little Seedlings community with weekly classes
✨ Missed classes can be made up with another session, within the 6 week block
✨ Each week will focus on a new area of development, supporting your baby learning through play.
✨ Once you’re booked on to a 6 week block, you will also get 50% discount to any Open Play session in those 6 weeks.

* Sessions include drinks and biscuits
* 50% Twin discount
* Some sessions will include outdoor play

It’s unlike us to keep anything quiet… but on this occasion, it was well worth it.

We hosted a ✨secret soft launch ✨an open day with one purpose…to test the waters before we officially opened the doors to our new home.

The nerves were high. The second guesses were creeping in. But the excitement kept us going.

Then the families arrived, which was when everything truly fell into place.

That’s when our venue felt like home. It felt complete. In that moment, we realised… we’d actually got this right.

We shared cake. We shared the history of this beautiful building with the church community. We shared songs, bubbles, laughter and sooo much excitement.

We celebrated this achievement for exactly what it is. The beginning of a very exciting new chapter for Little Seedlings.

This was a day celebrated not just by LS families but also by members of our local community.

We had local businesses stepping in to help make this day extra special, we had businesses pop in to simply say hello and show support. It made us love and appreciate our community even more than we already did.

We’ve talked a lot about our upcoming move, but just for a moment, let’s take it back to the present…

We still have 2 weeks left in this space, with a selection of sessions running across those two weeks before we close and move over the road!

So, what do we offer children?

This week, we’ve watched babies experience sand and seaweed for the very first time.

We’ve watched children build new friendships within the safety of a calm, nurturing environment.

We’ve watched families who had never met before share advice, encouragement and solidarity through the beautiful (and sometimes chaotic) rollercoaster that is parenthood.

Because our play space is about so much more than play.

It’s about connection, curiosity, confidence and community.
