If you’re seeing this in the middle of doomscrolling, don’t forget to put your phone down and take a moment of calm. Head outside, go for a walk, enjoy the sights and sounds of Leeds in the Summer.

Between the grey high-rises, our city has some beautiful spots to explore, from the canal, to iconic buildings and green spaces. You’ll thank us later 😀

If your thoughts feel loud, overwhelming, or hard to switch off, grounding techniques can help bring you back to the present moment 💛
There’s no “perfect” way to cope, and not every technique works for everyone — but sometimes small actions can make things feel a little more manageable.
Try a few, take what helps, and be gentle with yourself along the way.

Save this post for when you need a reset, and don’t forget to visit https://mindmate.org.uk/top-tips-feeling-good/mindfulness/stop-listen-relax/ for more mindfulness techniques
