Mongoose ESU MESU (Mongoose Explorer Scout Unit) is a group based in Gildersome.

Mongoose Explorer Scout Unit is based in South Leeds and Morley we are a youth
led unit for young people aged 14-18. We are part of The Scout Association,
and one part of a worldwide movement of over 28 Million.

A huge thank you to everyone who visited our stalls today at the Scarecrow Festival! 🎉🌻

We’d also like to say a special thank you to everyone who kindly donated items for our tombola and bake sale, we really do appreciate it!!

Thank you to all of our amazing volunteers who gave their time to help run the stalls throughout the day. We couldn’t have done it without you!

And finally, a big thank you to 12th Morley Scout Group , their leaders, and their two scouts who came along to help and support us today.

Your support helped make the day such a success, and we’re incredibly grateful to each and every one of you. ❤️

Last Friday our Explorers put their lightweight cooking skills to the test as they prepared for their Duke of Edinburgh 🔥🍳

Safe to say not every meal went exactly to plan… some of the cooking ended up a little more well done than intended 😂 but that’s all part of the learning!

Alongside their cooking, they also got busy planning fundraising activities for our local Scarecrow Festival and sharing ideas for the scarecrow they’d like to build. We can’t wait to see their creations come to life! 🌾
