What an emotional last day of business. ❤️
Today marks the end of an era —14 years of running the shop, filled with so many wonderful memories, but also a reminder of some of the difficult times we have been through along the way.
I want to say a massive thank you to Bernie Lawson and Anne Wood for your dedication, commitment and hard work over the last 9 years. You have both kept the shop going through some incredibly challenging times, when it could so easily have failed. I will be eternally grateful for everything you have done.
A huge thank you also to Sarah, who has volunteered a few hours every week since the shop first opened. Thank you for all the help and support you have given Bernie and Anne over the years.
And, of course, I must not forget the many volunteers who have given their time and support over the years. Many are no longer with us, but you have never been forgotten and will always remain part of the shop’s story and our thoughts. ❤️
A massive thank you also goes to all our wonderful customers, who have supported the shop for so many years. We truly appreciate each and every one of you. Without your support, none of this would have been possible.
But now the time has come for me to step away and focus on my health and wellbeing after what has been a very difficult year.
It is incredibly hard to say goodbye to something that has been such a big part of my life for the past 14 years, but sometimes we have to accept that all good things must come to an end.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey.
14 years, countless memories, and a chapter I will never forget.
