Skelton Woods Environment Group SWEG is a registered charity (No. 1083435) working in collaboration with Leeds City Council.

Our group of volunteers help maintain the Skelton Woods community woodland based in North East Leeds. Skelton Woods Environment Group (SWEG) run regular work days on a Saturday. These are open to everyone and tasks involve maintaining the woodland space. Committee meetings take place regularly to discuss woodland management. Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering or attending a meeting.

Some lovely teasels were left behind to feed the birds 🐦
New wildflower seed was sown in bare patches to pop up next year 🌸🌼

🌳 It's that time of year again where we manage our mini meadow! Fondly known as the bunny bank. 🐇
Our LCC ranger will be cutting the grass this week. Join us on Saturday to clear the cuttings, managing the habitat for the year ahead. 🌻🌸🦗🏵️🌼
