Leeds Youth Collective Our society aims to empower young people to fight the power of corporations and the 1%, in solidarity with social movements around the world.

The Leeds Youth Collective is the Leeds-based branch of the wider Global Justice Now (GJN) national youth network. We aim to forward the goals of Global Justice Now, such as combating corporate power, fighting the inequality of the 1% and raising awareness around migration. Working on both a small scale supporting local Leeds and Northern England-led initiatives, and on a wider national/internatio

nal scale in partnership with GJN youth network groups across the country, we aim to empower and support young members of society in creating the future we all deserve. We believe that the capitalist and neoliberal economics that is enforced upon societies around the world, is NOT a necessity or an inevitability. We believe in the alternative, where human life can live in harmony with the natural world to create a more equal, just and fair society for all.
