🔧 Keeping Scholes Village Hall improving

We are always looking for ways to improve the hall and make it easier and more economical to run.

We have recently added external solar lighting and we are also looking at installing Hive heating controls.

If anyone locally has experience of using Hive in a community building, we would be very interested to hear your thoughts.

Every improvement helps us look after the hall for the future. 💚

A huge congratulations to everyone involved in this year’s Scholes Village Show – what an excellent event and a wonderful day for the community! 👏🌻🏆

A very big thank you to all the organisers and volunteers who give so much of their time and energy to make the Show such a success. Events like this simply wouldn’t happen without the dedication of people working behind the scenes, both before and on the day.

We would also like to pay a special tribute to Jane Macaulay, who is retiring after an incredible 16 years of organising the Village Show. That is a remarkable commitment to our community, and Jane should be extremely proud of everything she has helped to achieve over those years.

Thank you, Jane, for your hard work, enthusiasm and dedication, and congratulations to everyone involved in another fantastic Village Show. ❤️
