A brilliant week at summer camp in the Lake District. Our Scouts challenged themselves in all sort of ways, tried new things, cooked and planned meals, walked, crafted, stalked, ran, and bounced all week! We had 'Fireball!' on repeat and ate approximately 3,500 orange club biscuits!

Hope everyone has managed to recover from an epic camp at Challenge 26 over the weekend. Our beavers, cubs and scouts all had terrific fun from handling wild animals, to falling off paddleboards and everything in between. The sun shone, England won (even if the leaders really could have done without that extra time!), and much laughter was had. For some of our young people, it was their first Challenge camp, and for some, it will be their last. But the memories, experiences and skills they learnt together will last a lifetime. See you in 2029?

A big thank you to the West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service for a terrific visit last night to the fire station. Scouts learned about what it takes to become a firefighter, the type of work they do, as well as getting to play with a giant fire engine!
