Itโs been another busy and uplifting week, full of friendship, learning, music and community connections.

Community, connection and shared understanding were at the heart of Mondayโs Big Lunch at Moortown Baptist Church, organised by LJHA - Leeds Jewish Housing Association, the Council of Christians and Jews and supported by Leeds Jewish Welfare Board.
The gathering brought together Jewish, Christian and Muslim participants to share food, stories and laughter, creating a warm space for meaningful conversation and a genuine sense of togetherness. Victoria and Dan were delighted to attend on behalf of Ljwb Leeds and Leeds Kosher Kitchen provided some delicious sandwiches and falafel.

We enjoyed a well-attended and engaging Curious Minds talk with Helen, โWho and When โ People I Have Met Along The Wayโ, followed by a lively Q&A session. Thank you to everyone who came along and contributed to the discussion.

The glorious sunshine made for the perfect backdrop as our Walking Group enjoyed a stroll around the big lake at Roundhay Park. A wonderful opportunity to get outdoors, stay active and catch up with friends.

Our Playroom was buzzing with activity this week, filled with chatty parents, grandparents and hungry toddlers enjoying time together in a welcoming and friendly environment.

Our Social Inclusive Group enjoyed a special afternoon of falafel, karaoke and great company. There was plenty of laughter, singing and conversation, making it a memorable session for everyone who attended.

We were delighted to welcome residents from Cookridge Court Care Home to our Sing Yourself Happy session. It was a lovely afternoon of shared enjoyment, music and community spirit.
