Local election results are in!

The results are coming in for yesterday's local elections and in the two wards that Caring Together serves the results are as follows

Headingley and Hyde Park:
Nilesh Chohan - Green Party

Little London and Woodhouse:
Eden Hills - Green Party

We will look forward to meeting our new councillors and hope that we will be able to work with them to support our local community.

We would also like to say thank you to Jonathan Pryor and Kayleigh Brooks, the outgoing councillors, for their support over the years and we wish them both well for the future.

We’re a Leeds-based Neighbourhood Network Scheme tackling isolation and disadvantage through community-led activities, practical support, and advice services.

“The Home plus service is aimed at enabling and maintaining independent living through improving their health and general well-being in the comfort of their own homes. Our focus is around reducing the risk of falls by installing minor adaptations and providing equipment to help improve safety and increase independence and confidence. We carry out home assessments and look at fire safety, benefits advice and the warmth of the property.”

Happy New Year!

And we are back!

Caring Together is open from today and our activities start from next week.

You can contact us in all the usual ways if you need any help, advice or support from us.

And we hope to see lots of our members at our weekly Winter Warmer Wednesdays which return again every week up to the end of March.
