It costs just £36 to fund one hour of research – and every donation helps drive real progress.

Today is the first day of 16 Days of Activism, an annual global campaign that begins on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, and ends on 10th December, Human Rights Day.🤝

According to UN Women 1 in 3 women worldwide has experienced physical or sexual violence, predominantly by an intimate partner. The 2025 theme from UN Women is “There is for online abuse” and asks that we “UNiTE to End Digital Violence Against All Women and Girls”. 📱💻

In England and Wales White Ribbon UK charity campaigns to prevent violence against women and girls by engaging men and boys and supports #16 Days of Activism; the 2025 theme is: We Speak Up and asks each of us to call out sexist banter, comments and behaviour when we witness it. 🗣️

Rotary Great Britain and Ireland is committed to working with all Rotarians in raising awareness of domestic abuse and sexual violence and proudly supports and .

We provide training and information workshops to engage men in our work and give them the skills to stand up to violence against women. We also provide training for organisations, local community groups, colleges and schools to help men understand the issues and their role.

Thank you to the 42 businesses in Horsforth that decorated their windows for our Halloween Trail.

But a big Thank You goes to everyone who did the trail and we can confirm that we raised £300 for Candlelighters

A very big thank you to everyone who came to our Aireborough Brass Band Charity Concert on the 26th October and we are very grateful to you all in that we have managed to raise £3,330 which will go towards helping numerous charities.

Another big thank you to Hepworth Brass Band and Ryan Watkin who gave everyone an entertaining afternoon they will remember.

We are pleased to announce that the concert will be held again on Sunday 25th October at Yeadon Town Hall make sure you have it in your calendar and look out for the booking information nearer the time.
