Today, with the heaviest of hearts, I'm announcing the permanent closure of The Greenhouse.
To me, it was always so much more than a co-working space - it was a labour of love that brought me friendship, camaraderie, experience, valuable learnings and intense joy. This decision comes after weeks and weeks of grim determination and careful deliberation - despite trying everything to keep the business afloat, I eventually came to the realisation it was no longer sustainable. So as much as I'd have loved to see things go back to how they were before and watch the space continue to thrive and grow, the reality is we simply weren't in a position to ride out this incredibly uncertain period.
I’d like to say an almighty thank you to all the wonderful residents, hot-deskers, workshop hosts, visitors and attendees who became part of our journey. The space was great, but it was always the people who got involved that made it truly exceptional. And to all the friends, family, colleagues, neighbours and strangers who supported me in this venture and spurred me on when times were hard - words can't express my gratitude.
Finally, I'm hopeful The Greenhouse will reappear in some other form at some point in the future. But for now, sadly, it's time to say farewell.
