Happy World Diversity Day!
Launched by UNESCO in 2002, World Day for Cultural Diversity is celebrated each year on 21st May.
The day celebrates the richness of cultures around the world, promotes intercultural understanding and encourages respect for cultural heritage.
Exploring culture helps learners become responsible global citizens. It encourages them to reflect on identity, question assumptions and build the skills to engage thoughtfully in a world shaped by different languages, histories and traditions.
Reboot the Future provides guidance on discussing culture in the classroom, along with free education packs produced by Groundwork and the British Council: https://buff.ly/bOoXJ1v
