Conversation Club Leeds Conversation Club Leeds - an informal and friendly space for asylum seekers and refugees to improve and practice their English.

Currently meeting Tuesday 1.30- 3.30pm. Holbeck working mens club LS11 9QX and Thursday venue 1.15 -3.15 Wheeler Hall LS2 8BE The Conversation Club has been running since May 2016 .Originally meeting in Leeds City Centre we are now exploring new venues. . We work in partnership with other groups e.g. with the HARP project from The Refugee Council who help newly arrived asylum seekers to access th

e NHS. A group of caring adults from all walks of life started the project to provide a safe place for refugees and asylum seekers. Vulnerable families who, through no fault of their own, have to leave the countries they love, because of war and persecution, have to seek protection in another country. Our volunteers provide English conversation, friendship , tea, coffee, . We play board games, chat and most of all smile and laugh. Please help support The Conversation Club by volunteering with us or supporting us at our fundraising events.

Welcome back!

Conversation Club started up again today at Holbeck WMC
Jenkinson Lawn , LS11 9QX (1.30-3.30 pm)

We will be in central Leeds on Thursday 8th at Wheeler Hall (known as Cathedral Hall) St Anne's Street, LS2 8BE 13.15- 15.15
It is a WEEK 'B' meeting - please bring your membership card and arrive before 2pm
