Volunteering isn't just about giving time – it's about inspiring confidence, building skills, encouraging friendships, and helping young people reach their full potential.

We are incredibly grateful for everything you do and proud to have such a passionate team at the heart of SLAM Scouts.

What an incredible achievement for our Scouts on their expedition weekend! 🎒🥾

After countless weekends spent meeting as a team, planning routes, learning outdoor cooking skills, and taking part in practice hikes, all their hard work led up to the main event…

A challenging two-day expedition covering a total of 25km, carrying all their own equipment, food, and supplies throughout the journey 💪

This experience tested their teamwork, resilience, navigation, and independence — and they should all be incredibly proud of what they accomplished.

Well done to everyone involved for taking on such an amazing challenge! 👏

The scores are in! 🎳

Our young people proved they’ve got serious bowling skills this year. With over half the district taking part in Jambowlree, there were plenty of strikes, plenty of spares, and definitely a fair share of gutter balls too!

A fantastic event full of fun, friendly competition, and great teamwork across all sections.

Well done to everyone who took part!

Back in May 2014, we held our Star Wars themed camp ⭐🚀

These photos are a fantastic reminder of just how much Scouting can shape young people’s lives. Many of the Scouts pictured here have since gone on to become volunteers themselves, giving back to the movement and helping inspire the next generation.

From young people on camp to leaders making a difference — Scouting really does create lifelong journeys.

What a fantastic turnout at the St George’s Day parade in Morley!

Nearly 500 uniformed members marched with pride, showing incredible community spirit and dedication. From Squirrels to Explorers, it was inspiring to see so many young people coming together to renew their promise.

A huge well done to everyone who took part and to the volunteers who made the day possible👏
