Compass Festival and Action Hero are constructing 2000 paper buildings for an interactive installation at Compass Festival in November 2026, and we need your help!
Space2 is working in partnership with Compass Festival to bring an exclusive 'From Ashes' workshop to East Leeds on Saturday 1st August 2026 (10am-12pm). We'll be making paper buildings of East Leeds for a special event on November 2026. The workshop is free and open to everyone.
Come along to this FREE workshop and help us build Leeds out of paper and be a part of Compass Festival 😍

Make a botanical print to take home and leave one for our "Everything is Connected" exhibition in 2027 in partnership with Leeds Discovery Centre
View our Dead Plants Society East Leeds Herbarium that will become part of the museum collection.

A beautiful walk this morning, full of wildlife and bursting with colour. All on our doorstep and so beautiful!
Rabbits, herons, and so many bees and pollinators. The importance of plants clear to see.

We walk Tuesdays 10-12 mainly Killingbeck Meadows, looking at the detail and baking an East Leeds Herbarium to go into the Leeds Discovery Centre collection.

We are very excited to invite you to five, free, monthly, one off creative sessions organised by and hosted by Space2. Come along to learn a new skill in a warm welcoming environment.
Our first session will be with Leeds based visual artist and maker Sandra Whyles who works across ceramics, collage and textiles, with clay at the heart of her practice.

We had a wonderful morning yesterday delivering a wellbeing session to the parents and carers of Little Hiccups, giving them a well deserved break and some time to look after themselves.
