***Apologies in advance for the lengthy message***

A quick, simple message advising what is likely to happen from a traditional Muslim political perspective in the UK if we vote LEAVE:

•Cameron will be forced to resign (we all dislike him but he is the lesser of two evils compared to Johnson)

•Johnson wins the Tory leadership contest to become new PM for the next 3/4 years with an extreme right wing government that unites under him http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/if-leave-wins-on-thursday-prime-minister-boris-would-hold-an-early-election-a7088151.html

• The Muslim hating Michael Gove becomes his right hand man and potential future PM

•New British Bill of Rights is introduced which is no doubt very anti-muslim and removes the parts of the human rights act which protects Muslims

•The general public in the UK will easily become more right wing including the parts of the Far Right who will be more prominent in major parties

•UKIP will have a great chance of winning seats in future General Elections with safe Labour seats under serious threat

•A Tory/UKIP coalition is far more likelier in government...And we will be looking at a lifetime of Tory or Tory/UKIP governments for many many years

•Blairites will use the EU as an excuse (along with others) to try to remove Corbyn

•Scotland will no doubt breakaway from UK giving Labour even less chance of winning any General Elections

• Would be very difficult to have the electoral ability to change current MPs for the betterment for Muslims under the current first past the post system due to all above

*NB*: The EU has done more for Palestine than UK (eg: illegally occupied lands labelling)

*CONCLUSION* = Life for Muslims in this country will be more and more difficult with a LEAVE vote

There are genuine arguments for a LEAVE vote from a Muslim perspective as the EU is far from perfect...however taking all the above into account it is quite clear to *REMAIN* in the EU is the lesser of two evils!

It is very important that people *GO OUT AND VOTE* tomorrow *TO REMAIN IN THE EU!*

_*A Beautiful Story:*_ *The Pope vs The M***i*

Several centuries ago, the Pope decreed that all Muslims had to convert to Catholicism or leave Italy. There was a huge outcry from the Muslim community, so the Pope offered a deal. He'd have a religious debate with the leader of the Muslim community. If the Muslims won, they could stay in Italy; and if the Pope won, they'd have to convert or leave.

The Muslim people met and picked an aged and wise M***i to represent them in the debate. However, as the M***i spoke no Italian and the Pope spoke no Arabic, they agreed that it would be a "silent" debate.

On the chosen day the Pope and M***i sat opposite each other. The Pope raised his hand and showed three fingers. The M***i looked back and raised one finger. Next, the Pope waved his finger around his head. The M***i pointed to the ground where he sat. The Pope brought out a communion wafer and a chalice of wine. The M***i pulled out an apple. With that, the Pope stood up and declared himself beaten and said that the M***i was too clever. The Muslims could stay in Italy.

Later, the cardinals met with the Pope and asked him what had happened. The Pope said, "First I held up three fingers to represent the Trinity. He responded by holding up a single finger to remind me there is still only one God! Then, I waved my finger around my head to show him that God was all around us. He responded by pointing to the ground to show that God was also right here with us. I pulled out the wine and wafer to show that God absolves us of all our sins. He pulled out an apple to remind me of the original sin. He beat me at every move and I could not continue!"

Meanwhile, the Muslim community gathered to ask the M***i how he'd won. "I haven't a clue," the M***i said. "First, he told me that we had three days to get out of Italy, so I gave him the finger. Then he tells me that the whole country would be cleared of Muslims and I told him that we were staying right here!"" And then what?" asked someone, "Who knows?" said the M***i. "He took out his lunch so I took out mine".

“During the fast, one should not engage in obscene talk or act in an ignorant manner by shouting and yelling. If anyone hurls abuse at you or swears you, or fights with you, then you should (respectfully) say ‘I am fasting’. *(بخاري)*

INSTRUCTIONS - Takbirāt of Tashrīq

The Takbirāt of Tashrīq are:

Allāhu Akbar, Allāhu Akbar, Lā ilāha illallāhu wallāhu Akbar, Allāhu Akbar, Walil lāhil hamd.

“Allāh is the Greatest, Allāh is the Greatest. There is no deity besides Allāh and Allāh is the Greatest. Allāh is the Greatest and all praises are for Allāh only.”

It is wājib for every adult Muslim to recite these Takbirāt of Tashrīq audibly once after every fard salāh from the Fajr of 9th Dhul-Hijjah (Wednesday 23rd Sep 2015) to the ‘Asr of 13th Dhul-Hijjah (Sunday 27th September 2015) total of 23 salāh.

• Mas’alah: Women should not say it loudly but softly.

• Mas’alah: Takbīr should be recited immediately after concluding the fard prayer.
