Happy St George’s day from all 13th Epiphany

Happy St George’s Day to all our Scouts, volunteers and families across the District.

Today is about more than just a tradition. It’s a chance to stop and say thanks to the amazing people who make Scouting happen in our village halls, muddy fields and local parks. Whether you’re a Squirrel Scout just starting out or a volunteer who’s been with us for decades, you’re part of something massive.

To our volunteers: thank you for the time you give and the skills you share. You’re helping young people in Leeds Templars dream big and gain skills for life.

Let’s be honest, anyone can be a fair-weather camper. But it takes a special kind of legend to keep smiling (and keep the team moving) when the heavens open!

At Leeds Templars Scouts, our volunteers are the heart and soul of every adventure. They are the ones turning a rainy afternoon into a muddy memory that young people will talk about for years.

Think you need special skills to join us? Think again. You don’t need to be an expert map-reader or a fire-lighting wizard. You just need:
✅ A sense of humour (clearly!)
✅ A willingness to get stuck in.
✅ A desire to help young people gain skills for life.

Whether you can give an hour a week or a day a month, we have a poncho with your name on it (metaphorically... though we can probably find you a real one too!).
