Monk Fryston Preschool is a safe, friendly & stimulating environment where children from two years old to primary school age, can learn through play and self initiated activities. Monk Fryston Pre-School was established 45 years ago, to provide a safe, friendly and stimulating environment where children aged 2 to primary school age can learn through play and self initiated activity. In January 201

5, Ofsted gave Monk Fryston Pre-School an Outstanding rating in all areas - the highest possible rating. We have a small, well established team of dedicated staff, who all have many years of experience in childcare. As well as the indoor main hall, we have a safe, enclosed outdoor play area and garden where the children can enjoy themselves. As we are very popular, we highly recommend that you register your child as soon as possible for a place at our Pre-School. Please see the application page for further details. Monk Fryston Preschool is officially a dedicated Maths Champion 🏆

A huge well done to Ellen who has worked hard over the last 12 months to develop the maths provision within the setting. Ellen has learnt new skills which she has implemented each session to help improve maths outcomes for the children and supported the team to enhance knowledge and practice.

To all our wonderful parents and our little stars 🌟,
Tomorrow is our last morning of preschool for the year 2025 and what a joyful year it has been! This year was filled with laughter, learning, friendships, and so many special moments that made every day fun and memorable.

Thank you for being part of our preschool family and for trusting us with your precious children. From all of us on the team, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy, healthy New Year filled with love, smiles, and new adventures. 🎁🎉

Road closure 4th and 5th December.

The road leading up to Preschool will be closed for repair on the above dates. Access will still be possible via the side from The Crown Pub. Please be aware that this will limit parking and may cause some disruptions during drop off and pick up times.
