As today marks twelve years since losing Dai, we want to take a moment to remember all of those lost friends and family who created the foundation for the work we do.
Dai Rees Nugget and Dr. Julian Widdowson have been with us on every challenge and in every smile but there's many more characters who have positively impacted our team members and act as inspiration from a distance.
Diolch to all of them, today and every day.

Nepal 2026 🇳🇵
After completing training in Pokhara the team then moved to Lamjung to give training to a wide range of health post staff.
The team were so greatfull for the welcome and the health care staff were a pleasure to teach, they were keen to engage and learn the skills.
They were professional and had great interaction with the team throughout the training day.
After this training day the team had a few days of relaxation and recuperation at Rainaskot Community Homestay Lamjung .
Thank you so much for being so welcoming to us and looking after us with great care, and thank you for the amazing food 💗
The team have since travelled back to Kathmandu and 4/5 of us have all safely returned to the UK after a very successful trip.
The 5th member of the team has remained in Nepal for nothing more than a bit of chill time and get some more Vitamin D before returning to the wet and cold UK.
We are all so proud of each other, all the staff and students we have taught; and how the trip went and hope that our teaching has made a impact on all those working in nepal from rural health posts, rescuers in the community and hospital staff.
Thank you Nepal, and thank you to all of the students and staff and those who have looked after us throughout.
With a special a big big thank you to Dr Laxmi Panthy डा. लक्ष्मी पन्थी for working so incredibly hard to help us throughout this trip, your help and support is hugely appreciated.
Until next time Nepal 🇳🇵
Diolch yn fawr.

Nepal Part 4 🇳🇵❤️.. Pokhara 🥰
The team have spent the last 3 days in Pokhara donating and teaching AED and CPR training to Sarhara Hospital.
Sahara hospital is the hospital where Dr Laxmi works - who has hugely helped us in so many ways throughout this trip.
The team donated a AED, x2 batteries and multiple defib pads to the hospital which currently does not have a defibrillator for them to use in the emergency department, ICU, and other wards.
The participants - which included a wide range of qualified doctors and nurses - their knowledge on basic life support was excellent and the session was a pleasure to teach
Thank you for allowing us to teach at your hospital and we hope that the AED saves many life's.
P.s thank you for even getting the mountain out for us to see.

Nepal Part 2 & 3 - 🇳🇵
The team travelled to Butwal Via Chitwan where the team managed to have a bit of time for themselves before travelling to Butwal - this involved a 4 hour Jeep safari into Chitwan National Park - we saw multiple animals including Rhinos, Monkeys, Crocodiles and a huge variety of birds.
Over the last 2 days the team have managed to teach a total of 83 students including a variety of Qualified Doctors and, Nurses and 1st/2nd year nursing students in Edmond City Hospital Butwal.
The students were a wonderful group to teach who were motivated and interactive during all training sessions 🥰
The college and hospital staff were so incredibly welcoming and kind to us throughout.
Thank you for the valentines day trip up to the top of the Lumbini cable car.
We hope to be back in the future.
Dhanyabād 🇳🇵

The college staff and the students have been so incredibly welcoming to us, and it was great to teach to a bunch of enthusiastic, keen and friendly students.
Thank you for again welcoming us back to teach; supporting us with allowing us to use a wide range of rooms and equipment and also thank you for the amazing lunches.
The dog picture is included purely because hes unbelievably cute and he is the college Dog 🐕

Yesterday was the first formal meeting of the 2026 trip!
After the successes of last year we felt inspired to continue the work.
The itinerary is being finalised but team is complete! It includes decades of experience from the NHS and internationally from Sudan to the West Bank. With specialists in pre-hospital, hazardous area, remote, intensive care and pediatric medicine.
We are looking to donate an ALS Resuscitation manikin to a Nepali partner college, if anyone has any contacts who could spare an old one please get in contact.
