WE HAVE SPACES AVAILABLE AT OUR OUT & ABOUT PROJECT.........
(This is an ongoing/regular activity service and not a summer scheme)
Teenage years can be tricky – more so if you have a child with additional needs. Teenagers with additional needs still want to go out and have fun with people of the same age but may still require support to do this. That’s what Out and About Project is all about.
We have trained and experienced staff who already work for us at the Weekenders Club and we staff each trip according to the level of support required.
This Service is from 13yrs up to 18yrs Prices differ based on the activity between £11-£30
(Please note we do not offer one-to-one supervision for this service.)
We organise trips for the teens that attend Out and About Project. This is anything from bowling, cinema, eating out, snooker, trampolining, LaserZone, theatre, theme park visits (in the school holidays) and local attractions such as Yorkshire Wildlife Park and Stockeld Park… basically anything teens would like to do!

We are looking for Volunteers!
Volunteers are required to join us at our Weekend Play Scheme for children with disabilities, helping on a Saturday at least twice per month. The play-scheme is based at The Vinery Centre,20 Vinery Terrace, East End Park, Leeds, LS9 9LU and the hours are 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, including a half hour unpaid lunch break.
You will be supporting our staff team to provide care and play opportunities for children and young people who have a variety of disabilities and are aged between 5 and 18 years. Training will be given to help you in this role.
Experience of working with disabled young people would be helpful, although the main thing we are looking for is enthusiasm and commitment, plus a strong desire to help our special client group.
