OUR MISSION: To connect communities with interdisciplinary artistic processes by supporting educational, professional development and performance opportunities. ABOUT US: DancingStrong Movement Lab creates work that is interactive, collaborative and engages with public pedagogy. To this end we play with traditional and non-traditional dance forms through practice-based research to create exciting

performance pieces and programs, with a particular interest in site-specific choreography, installation-based work and audience interaction using new technology. We believe that everyone is an artist and communities can engage and interact deeply with artistic processes.

The Wonderful Water Festival in Bristol starts tomorrow, celebrating the power of water to sustain life, nourish nature, and inspire wellbeing. ⁠

We are overjoyed to be participating in the festivities with our our family SPLASH! workshops taking place this Saturday 12 April 2025.

Hands reach, feet move—SPLASH! invites families and little ones to dive in and be part of the journey of water 🌊💃

🌊✨ Exciting news! SPLASH! events are making waves, and we’d love to see you there! 🌊✨

Join us at the Family BeWell Dance Festival this Saturday, 22nd February at artsdepot, North Finchley, London – catch our performance at 3:30 PM as part of the showcase!

Then, we’re heading to Trinity Community Arts Centre in Bristol on 12th April, where we’ll be hosting two SPLASH! community workshops plus visits to schools and community hubs!

After a wonderful time touring SPLASH! last autumn to the Pegasus Theatre in Oxford and the Midlands Arts Centre, we are back!

It was so great to share SPLASH! with you. Incase you missed. SPLASH! is an intimate, interactive performance installation which uses dance and painted and projected artworks to explore our relationship with water. Beginning in an imaginary cool stream where rain falls gently, audiences are led by three dancers through a vibrant city river into the expanse of the ocean.
