Everything is Possible wishes to offer opportunities to all young people, but in particular will look to target young people from minority ethnic groups, or those who have had less access to opportunities. Even though our offices are bases in Yorkshire, we work all over the UK and are happy to work with young people and partners from any area.

๐Ÿ”ง More practical mechanical experience for Alfie & Jack in Aruba ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ผ

This week, Alfie and Jack have continued developing their skills through a range of hands-on mechanical tasks with the team at De Palm Island.

Their work included servicing tour buses using a four-post lift, replacing a bus window with a new glass panel, welding a UTV exhaust muffler, and carrying out safety inspections on tour jeep seatbelts. Any faulty seatbelts were replaced to ensure the vehicles remained safe and ready for guests.

They also had the chance to ride some of the bikes they help maintain, giving them a first-hand look at the importance of quality servicing and repairs.

These real-world maintenance and repair tasks are providing valuable industry experience while helping Alfie and Jack build their confidence and technical skills in an international working environment.

To top off the week, Amelia and Sam received a special โ€œBig 5 Awardโ€ from one of the gap groups, with students recognising the support, guidance and encouragement they provided throughout the programme.

A fantastic week full of conservation, teamwork and growing confidence in leading activities with guests and students.
