Many ways in GoJu we can utilise our ‘mawashi uke ‘ ‘round block’ ‘tora guchi’ ‘ circular block’ ‘open hand round block’ ‘mawashi kake uke’ …and at least as many names.
Here their task was just to move smoothly and with a relaxed mind and body through at least 4 combinations of two interconnected’ mawashi uke’ …inside and outside lines.

exploration, not performance
And when it’s this hot
moving at a deliberate pace, processing sensory feedback, releasing habitual tension
rather than just working through yet another fitness routine

shifting out of "fight-or-flight" mode and helping to reduce stress (hormones like cortisol can sometimes get a hold and wear you out)

enhancing interoception;
its about noticing precisely how it feels to move, building a stronger connection between mind and body

…start a journey and before you realise it 5 years have passed.
Progress, achievements and accomplishments abound…
Sticking with it,ie persistence, is essential for all achievements,
but it is rarely enough on its own, nonetheless persistence is the foundation…
A few random video minutes of a 5 yr long journey so far for Jozie
from white belt to brown belt, she is doing just great;
a valuable member of Tsuyoi Kokoro Dojo in Leeds, learning GoJu
for many more years to come we hope🤞
& It’s never too late to start a new journey, reinvent yourself,
age is merely a number, you can pursue passions regardless of age.
Focus on your desire and take action rather than waiting for opportunities to come to you. Your ability to learn is not limited by how old you are; you can gain new skills and reach high proficiency levels at any stage of life….
