💃Swing Dance Workshop - This Saturday!🕺
📅 Saturday 10th October
🕐 1pm – 3pm
📍 Bramley Baths - £5 per person
Did you know that during the winter months, right up until around the 1960s, our amazing Bramley Baths pool hall was transformed into a dance hall? 🪩
The pool was drained, a temporary floor and structure were put in place and, of course, no dance hall would be complete without that all-important glitter ball! ✨
And so, the majestic Bramley Baths Dance Hall was created!
While those days may sadly be behind us, we’re stepping back to our dance hall roots and recreating a little of this memorable era — with a sprinkle of community spirit! ❤️
Our workshops are suitable for Beginners – Intermediate, so whether you’ve never danced before or already have a few moves under your belt, come along and have some fun!
Our wonderful host and Jive coach Kathleen will guide you through some iconic steps, helping you discover the music, movement and atmosphere of this memorable era.
