Houseplants have the ability to purify the air, NASA have researched this and found some plants can remove:
formaldehyde - can cause airway irritation, bronchospasm,
Benzene - causes cells not to work properly ie damage immune system, leads to anemia
Carbon Monoxide- prevents the body from using oxygen properly
Xylene - can cause headaches, dizziness, drowsiness, nausea
They’re not only beautiful but necessary to our health.
