Support local q***r communities this Pride Month 🏳️‍🌈

Happy Pride Month 🌈
June is a time when organisations across the UK show their support for LGBTQ+ communities through campaigns, events, and visibility.

That visibility matters, but Pride also offers an opportunity to go a step further.

Across Leeds, grassroots LGBTQ+ groups are creating:
~ safe, welcoming spaces
~ opportunities for connection and wellbeing
~ support for people who don’t always feel reached by large‑scale events

This work happens quietly, on very limited budgets.

This Pride Month, if your organisation is:
~ planning fundraising activity
~ running internal campaigns
~ or looking for ways to show support.. please consider how you might connect with and uplift community‑led organisations locally.

It might look like:
~ fundraising for grassroots groups
~ partnering on accessible, inclusive events
~ spotlighting community activity
~ or making a direct contribution to sustain this work

Every contribution makes a tangible difference, whether it’s helping someone travel to a session, funding a community space, or enabling people to feel connected and supported.

If you’re able to make a donation, or would like to explore how your organisation can support grassroots LGBTQ+ activity in Leeds, we’d love to hear from you.

Pride is at its strongest when it’s rooted in community, care, and connection.
