We love it when our members lead creative workshops in the studio 🤩

Last week, Pyramid member William led a spooky Halloween-themed workshop for Studio Pyramid attendees 🎃

The group created spooky collages using cut-out illustrations and experimented with printmaking using dough stamps and foliage 🍂

It was brilliant to see William share his creativity and ideas with the group, and everyone get stuck into some spooky making! 👻

Come along for a warm drink and some delicious homemade cakes, while helping to raise funds for Pyramid ✨

There’ll also be a creative table where you can make your own zine and have a go at collage — no experience needed! ✂️

Your £4 admission includes a hot drink and a slice of cake 🍰

It’s only been over a week since The Magic Show exhibition at Sunny Bank Mills closed, and we’re still delighted by the wonderful response from visitors – including some of the artists themselves! 🤩

Earlier this month, Studio Pyramid members Laura, Dan, Fred and Heather visited the gallery to see their artwork on display. It was a special opportunity to experience the exhibition together and see their work celebrated in such a beautiful gallery space 🎨

It was Laura and Fred’s first ever visit to Sunny Bank Mills, and Fred was particularly inspired by the history of the mill and its surroundings ✨

We loved seeing the group explore the exhibition, share their thoughts and enjoy all the creativity and imagination that made The Magic Show so special 💫

A huge thank you to Sunny Bank Mills for bringing this wonderful exhibition together and creating space to showcase the work of artists with learning disabilities and autism 🙌

Thank you to everyone who came along to the opening of Postcards from the World at The Art House Wakefield during Artwalk Wakefield last week! It was brilliant to see so many people celebrating the work of Pyramid artists 🤩

We’re also excited to share that 12 postcards were sold during the opening🎉 Every purchase makes a difference, with proceeds helping us support more people with learning disabilities and autism to discover the arts, develop their creativity and grow as artists ✨

The exhibition is open until 12 November, so there’s still plenty of time to visit, explore the artwork and pick up a handmade postcard of your own 💌

Our weekly art groups have started up again, and we just love what they've created so far 🤩

Members of our Thursday morning group have started working on artist sketchbooks they'll use this term and have been experimenting with mark-making with ink and objects 🖌️

We can’t wait to see where their ideas take them! ✨

A massive thank you to Steve Biggs-Fox for taking on the Robin Hood Half Marathon in Nottingham on Saturday and fundraising for Pyramid! 🎉🏃‍♂️

It was Steve’s first-ever half marathon, and after months of training, early morning runs, injuries and even a bout of heat exhaustion, he crossed the finish line – all while raising an incredible £620 for Pyramid, smashing his £500 target! 🙌

Steve’s fundraising will help us continue supporting artists with learning disabilities and autism to discover the arts, develop their creativity and grow as artists ✨

We’re so grateful to Steve and everyone who donated and supported him along the way. Thank you for running for Pyramid and helping protect our future! 🎨

🌍 Postcards from the World at Art House – Opens tomorrow!🌍

Pyramid has teamed up with .wakefield and The Art House Wakefield for a new exhibition celebrating handmade postcards created by artists from our Next Step Pyramid and Legends groups 🎨

Each postcard offers a glimpse into the artists’ creativity, ideas and imaginations — and they’ll also be available to purchase, with all proceeds helping Pyramid support more people with learning disabilities and autism to discover the arts, develop their creativity and grow as artists ✨

The exhibition is free and open to everyone, with no booking required!
