Leeds Student Action for Refugees - STAR

Leeds Student Action for Refugees - STAR We're a student-run organisation that aim to assist, support and empower refugees and asylum seekers. Welcome to Leeds branch of STAR!

We're a national organisation that supports refugees and asylum seekers. We hold two informal conversation classes; one on Saturday 12.30pm-4pm where we meet at Old Bar, and one on Wednesday 1pm-4pm where we meet at Parkinson steps. As well as a number of campaigns, socials and events throughout the year. Stay tuned for updates on these. No experience needed so if you'd like to get involved come along! Feel free to join the Facebook group for the current 2014/2015 volunteers, to stay up to date with what is going on https://www.facebook.com/groups/739112519487881/?fref=ts
