For the past 10 years, RJN has worked alongside communities resisting racism, challenging colonial power, and building spaces rooted in solidarity, care, and collective action. This June, we invite you to celebrate that journey with us✊🏾

Our 10th Anniversary Celebration will bring together community members, organisers, artists, collaborators, and supporters for an afternoon of storytelling, exhibition, reflection, performances, and conversation.

Together, we’ll honour the relationships, struggles, creativity, and resilience that have sustained this work over the last decade, while looking towards the futures we still need to build.

Whether you’ve been part of RJN’s journey for years or are connecting with us for the first time, we would love for you to join us for this special moment.

There’s now less than two weeks to go before we stop selling tickets for the Northern Race Equality Conference 2026, in collaboration with Ella Baker School of Organising and Race Equality Network! ‼️✨

Join us for a day of powerful conversations, political education, workshops, and collective organising with communities, organisers, academics, artists, and activists from across the country.

In increasingly hostile times, spaces like NREC are vital for building solidarity, exchanging knowledge, strengthening connections, and imagining collective pathways towards racial justice and liberation.

Whether you’re attending to learn, connect, reflect, or organise, we hope you’ll join us in building this important space together.

Meet the speakers 🇧🇷🇬🇧✨

For our Afro-Diasporic Futures report launch, expect to hear directly from organisers and leaders based in Salvador Brazil, whose work is redefining what care and community-led practice look like in action.

We’re excited to bring together a wealth of Brazilian voices 🇧🇷 alongside speakers from our own team; people working across multiple fronts to confront systemic racism and gender-based violence in their respective fields, regions, and beyond.

If you’re interested in learning from organising in different contexts, how all our work connects and want to explore how to engage in this kind of work, this event is for you.

✊🏾Share with someone who should be part of this conversation.

This Thursday, we begin the second module of our ongoing racial justice training ✊🏽

Thank you to everyone who joined the previous sessions with open hearts and minds and were ready to reflect, share, and learn with us.

In this next module, Movement Building, we’ll be diving into how movements begin, how they grow, what helps them sustain, and what causes them to lose momentum. Along the way, participants will explore organizing, mobilizing, and planning for action.

If you’re ready to think critically, get practical, and learn how to build a sustainable movement around the issues you care about, make sure to tune in.

Tomorrow we officially begin our online racial justice training ✊🏽

This course will take participants on a journey to deepen our understanding of power, build collective strength, and imagine both new and old ways to create change.

Tomorrow we begin with our first module; Systems of Oppression where we'll be diving into the structures, rules, and norms that shape our workplaces, communities, movements, and everyday lives.

If you’re ready to think critically, get practical, and challenge injustice where you live, work, and organise, we’ll see you there.
