Coming soon... THE EBENEZER

In 1856 the original chapel the Ebenezer was built. From the early 1900s the building had a new fascia built over the existing chapel face and then became the Western Talkie Cinema.
Over the years has been a laundrette, a bingo hall and amusements.

This building takes on a personality of its own on a night.
Through the day this building will soon run as a community centre but in the evening as darkness falls the building will really come to life.

This will soon be Available for hire alongside the cottage (hopefully from August) from 7pm till 2am for an additional fee.

Who would be interested in being among the first to ever investigate this building?

Today we are introducing one of our honorary members that shows support when visiting the UK and will try and help out when she is here. She helps out where she can on TikTok and Facebook lives despite being a world away

Please meet Doreen.
Here’s what she has to say:

Hello from across the pond. My name is Doreen. You have met Team FX so let me tell you a little about myself. I'm an artist, I've been painting since i was young. My medium of choice is acrylics though I also use oils and water colors. I don't just paint I also do sfx makeup.
I've been a haunt actor and makeup person for years.
Over the years I've been a roadie, club owner, bouncer, event staff and convention worker, celebrity handler to name just a few.

My favourite drink has to be a monster, there’s no better feeling than opening a fresh can and feeling like the day can start

I became involved with fx paranormal I believe in 2023 while watching them on a live feed i noticed a few things and spoke out. From there it just clicked and I felt I found my place. On my first trip to the UK I became... how do I put this... the adventure wrangler for Irene and Annie. If you know you know.

I enjoy all things spooky, creepy, and otherworldly. And have been blessed to find those who share these things.

I can't wait to be back in the UK, my home away from home to investigate more places and meet more like minded people.
