We were delighted to attend the opening of the newly refurbished paediatric radiotherapy department at St James’s Hospital. Thanks to funding from us and the fantastic Candlelighters team, we’ve been able to revitalise the children’s and teen areas, creating a welcoming, age-appropriate space designed to help young patients feel more at ease throughout their visits.

A huge thank you to everyone involved, the transformation looks fantastic.

In this day of emails, texts and WhatsApp messages, it was nice to receive a handwritten note from the Candlelighters team in Leeds.

It was nice of them to take the time to do this and to thank our small team for the various contributions that the Susie P Charitable Foundation make toward the various support projects that they run with the Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust.
