MOT Marching Out Together

05/09/2026

Properly rubbish the club still have to put these messages out in 2026 but here we are.

This fixture in 2025 was also blighted by homophobic comments by own fans.

All Leeds, Aren’t We? Your words matter.

Regional Alliance x FVH x Football Pride 🤝
Stronger together 🏳️‍🌈💪🏳️‍⚧️

Tony Powell’s story is an important and moving one - a Norwich City player who slipped out of the British game in the early 80s and into a life where he could finally breathe. The Last Guest of the Holloway Motel follows him decades later in Los Angeles, carrying everything he had to leave behind to live honestly. Co‑directed by Ramiel Petros and Nicholas Freeman, and co‑produced by Robbie Rogers, it’s a rare and important piece of q***r football history.

We’re really proud to support Football v
Homophobia for this special Football Pride screening and if story’s like Tony’s matter to you, we strongly encourage you to come along and experience this special event with us.

Tickets can be purchased at HPPH.co.uk and checking out the listings by date

🌈🤝 The Regional Alliance of LGBTQ+ Football Supporters’ Groups is growing!

A warm welcome to Rainbow Rovers and Rainbow Reds to the alliance, as we continue working together across Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire to champion LGBTQ+ inclusion and visibility in football. ⚽️

Rainbow Rovers: “We are pleased and excited to be joining the LGBTQ+ Regional Alliance. We look forward to working together with the existing members and ensuring that football is an inclusive place for all members of the LGBTQ+ community.”

Rainbow Reds: “It’s great to be part of the LGBTQ+ Regional Alliance, as joining others, who are at different stages of their fan group journey, will allow Rainbow Reds to evolve and grow into an LGBTQ+ and allies network at Barnsley FC. We are trying to create a safe and inclusive space in football, including for visiting fans to Oakwell.”

Stronger Together 💪
