What a year it has been for NAWIC Yorkshire! ✨
From social events and school & college visits to attending UKREiiF, we’ve certainly been busy.
We kicked off the year by celebrating our third anniversary at a Leeds wine bar — and we can’t believe how quickly the past three years have flown by!
In May, nine NAWIC delegates attended UKREiiF, making the most of everything it had to offer. It was a packed few days of networking in the sunshine, fringe events, and great conversations. We also hosted our own fringe event, Build, Brew & Breakfast, at Leeds College of Building. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and took the time to learn more about the work we do.
Throughout the year, we’ve continued visiting schools, colleges, and employability events to promote the many opportunities and benefits of careers in the construction industry. Highlights include:
• Wentworth Woodhouse Social Value Event
• Career talks at Barnsley College, Barnsley Academy, and Outwood Academy Shafton
• Sheffield Women in Construction Event
2025 has been a fantastic year for NAWIC Yorkshire, and we’re already looking ahead to 2026…
📅 Our first event of 2026 will take place on 19 January — more details to follow in the New Year, so keep an eye out!
Finally, a huge thank you from the NAWIC Yorkshire committee to everyone who has attended our events this year and helped make them happen. We couldn’t have done it without you.
