Plenty of green veg today, bread, pate and some ready meals.
10am for a token to join the queue St Edmund's church hall Lidgett Park Road LS8 1JN.
Open to everyone to come and get a free bag of food and avoid it going to landfill.

EDIT-
We are pleased to say we now have our vacant slots covered with 4 new volunteers so many thanks to the Roundhay community for helping to ensure the foodshare can keep running.

Would you like to help us run the St Edmund's foodshare?

We have had a great response and Sundays are now covered but we are still looking for some new people to help with food collections on Tuesdays once a fortnight.

We collect from four local shops and take the food to the church hall between 8.45pm and 10pm. We do this in pairs.
You need to have a car and be able to lift bags of food.
It's a vital role in ensuring that the food is not put in landfill and that local people can access food for free each week.
Come and join our group of volunteers and help our community.

Sandwiches, wraps, raspberries and strawbwrries. Fruit yogurts, chicken breast to cook, chicken ready meals, prawn cocktails, spring onions and a few loaves and fancies plus pancakes today at the foodshare.

In the fridge: a couple of sandwiches, pork and chicken snacks; sliced chicken breasts and ham; cous cous and coleslaw; beef spread, blue cheeses, Japanese chicken curries and other ready meals; broccoli, asparagus, nectarines, milk. A variety of bread rolls and baps, loaves, coffee cakes and raspberry frangipani tarts today.

Frozen milk plus some previously frozen strawberry milk which is now defrosting in the fridge. Small amount of bread rolls and veg. Some ready meals, a pizza and frozen tortellini.

The freezer is full of tortellini, pizza and microwave meals, soup, skimmed milk & desserts. Some sandwiches and tomatoes. No pastries today, some scone & butter packs and apples harvested this weekend ( they are like a cross between bramley and granny smiths - quite tart ) Bread and rolls too.
