🍀❤️💘STAFFY STEVE NEEDS A HOME. This portly traditional little man is fabulous. We adore this breed at Good Life. If you love Staffies like us then you will know on first meet that Stephen is a peach. This handsome, gorgeous boy is loving, very friendly and one of our newest additions from a Yorkshire stray kennels. He owns a comical temperament and someone will be very lucky to have this dream boy in their arms, heart and life. Steve arrived from a Yorkshire stray kennels a little crusty around the edges. He is now looking so much better with lotions and potions from us and a healthy diet and exercise. Staffy Steve has passed a full health check at the vets. Calls are welcome every day. 💔❤️‍🩹😭MERTLE AND MAVIS DESPERATELY NEED A HOME. These beautiful French Bulldogs are still so sad in kennels. Please share this heartbreaking appeal. After almost seven fantastic years in home comforts with so much love shown this mum and daughter duo have been broken in kennels. They were adopted and due to the passing of their owner from a terminal illness they came back to us. Mavis has recently been under a specialist vets for an eye ulcer after weeks and weeks of eye drops in our care. We feel blessed we still have her due to not being able to have surgery because of her breathing issues. They are extremely sweet, friendly and adore people but still have no home offers. A pet free home is needed. Our girls have struggled to eat in kennels and found the loss of their home very difficult to cope with. Their hearts have been broken along with ours.😭

💔❤️‍🩹😭This has been such a struggle to place them and we cannot believe we are still appealing weeks down the line. We have followed up on emails from some kind people however only pet homes are needed. These ladies are now twelve and nine years old. Please do not let them waste their precious days in kennels. ❤️💘🌞🍀BIG WELCOME FOR CLARA. ONE GORGEOUS CROSS BREED YOUNGSTER WHO IS LOOKING FOR LOVE. This beautiful young lady is new into our care from the stray kennels. She is possibly a Shepherd/Collie/Akita mix. Who knows? Without a doubt she is stunning and another pup of approximately ten/twelve months that has been left homeless and in need of a lifeline. Although we are not quite sure of her Heinz mix we know she is adorable in every way. Clara is affectionate, very puppy like however knows basic commands. She will need a very active home with committed humans that can continue with guidance, training and most of all provide love in abundance. After a settling in period more details will be added to a profile page on our website very very soon. We would love to find this youngster a new start as soon as possible.

👏🎉💘❤️BENSON FOUND A FANTASTIC HOME. ADOPTED AT LAST. After a long search the adorable Benson has hit jackpot and found some loving, kind and active humans to share his days with. He had an amazing meet and greet with two outdoorsy rescue adopters last week. Tracey and Jason fell in love with this boy and have rescued many dogs before. He is enjoying lots of rural adventures, off lead fields and will be coming to work with his mum and dad who have a rural business. This handsome lad has had quite a journey with us and lately has been down in the dumps. After being in our care a few months from a Yorkshire stray kennels his spirits have now been lifted high now he is back in home comforts and sharing the bed. This boy comes to life for a ball game and has won all our hearts at Good Life with his off lead zoomies. All our volunteers just love this boy and his days of adventure will be just what he needs. Benson is now living his dream life in Otley and will want for nothing.

👏🙏❤️UPDATE ON MAVIS AND MERTLE. Yesterday we took Mavis to see a fantastic ophthalmologist at Paragon specialist vets. Our last hope was to be referred and have specialist treatment. We are elated to say the eye ulcer is clearing and Mavis will not need surgery or further treatment now. Surgery was our last option due to Mavis struggling with her airways. It was doubtful she would pull through any sort of operation. We are elated at the outcome on Mavis's eye and although a costly visit we feel this was well worth it for this special senior Frenchie. We never give up hope and at twelve years old Mavis has come a long way. Constant eye drops has been a huge challenge for us in kennels however no home was found.

😭💔Unfortunately these two ladies are now struggling terribly in kennels and despite our appeals we still have no offer of a home or a foster. Mavis and Mertle are off their food so another battle commences to increase their appetite. THIS IS HEARTBREAKING AND THESE GIRLS ARE VERY SAD. They were adopted by our charity seven years ago and sadly had to come back into our care due to their owners terminal illness. Sadly their amazing mum has recently passed away. 😭💔Despite following a few enquiries there is still no home for these ladies. WE ARE URGENTLY SEARCHING FOR A HOME FOR THIS LOVING DUO. 👏🙏🎉❤️HAPPY NEWS........... BLAZE FINDS A LOVING NEW HOME. After a very very long journey from stray kennels to our charity this beautiful German Shepherd has at last found his forever love. Blaze went to his new home at the weekend with Mark and Claire and has been settling in so well. He has full run of the home, he is sleeping on the bed and patting his dad for attention as and when he feels like it!. Blaze is loving watching the Koi Carp, playing with toys, being brushed, and slurping water all over the floor. To say we are elated for this boy is an understatement. This gorgeous Shepherd is now living the dream in Peterborough and has been finding his paws and tucking them under tables and anywhere else he pleases. His dad asks him if he is happy every day which is the kindest thought for a rescue dog. Blaze will be loved and cherished and is at last living life and enjoying freedom. Mark and Claire have loved and lost a Shepherd before so Blaze will be creating new memories in the spirit of Ralph. Blaze enjoys company every day as Mark works from home. His lonely days are now long gone. WE ARE ELATED.

👏🎉❤️Blaze was the last dog to leave Flushdyke kennels after spending nineteen long months in isolation as a stray. We collected him on 3rd November and on the 31st of May with many happy hearts his new life of love and luxury started. We thank Wath Boarding Kennels and all staff for caring for Blaze and to all our volunteers who have walked and desperately prayed for him a new start. We send Mark and Claire a huge thank you for giving this gorgeous soul a life worth living. Blaze will want for nothing. This is truly one homeless to happy that we need to share. Here are some photos of Blaze's journey from rags to riches. Mark and Claire now have a FB page named Blaze the German Shepherd. THIS IS ONE HAPPY EVER AFTER TO LIFT SPIRITS. 🙏🌞❤️VOLUNTEER DOG WALKERS NEEDED. Good Life Dog Rescue is now located at Garforth, Leeds (LS25). We have lots of rescue dogs in our care and are looking for reliable dog walkers to offer support. You must be fit and active and most of all love dogs. All our dog's welfare needs remain our priority every day. The more walkers we have the more interactions and exercise our homeless ladies and gents receive daily. This reduces their stress and energy levels until we find them a loving home. We are lucky to have some rural walks in our area and a paddock for off lead one to one time.

🙏🌞❤️If you feel you can help our charity and support our dogs then we would love to hear from you and would be very grateful for extra help. Most of our dogs are from local stray kennels and need that very special someone to help them on their way to a happy life. 🙏🍀❤️MORRIS NEEDS A HOME. PLEASE SUPPORT AND KEEP SHARING. This Staffy cross is adorable. He has a big heart and is a young goofball. His home is now long overdue. This sweet, handsome young man has waited many months to find a home. He has had a viewing today however no love match was made. Morris is extremely affectionate and very playful. He is a very clean dog in kennels and will play with toys by himself for entertainment. Moz is very comical and a huge fave with all volunteers. He has now been with us a long time. This youngster needs an active home where he will receive more guidance and loads of adventures. We all love this boy very much and know he will make someone a fabulous companion. Can you offer him his time to shine?

🍀🌞💘ADOPTION OF SENIOR DOGS. We have five seniors looking for love at our charity. Two duos and one single lady. Many people will not consider a dog of ten or upwards as they feel they cannot cope with limited life expectancy. These dogs deserve comforts and love in luxury living in their twilight days. Who knows what the limited time is? We have no crystal balls however we do know that seeing them in kennels is a heartbreak. Many of our adopted seniors have gone on to live the happiest of lives for many years. We have seen this time and time again. Once back in a home many of them blossom and find a new lease of life. PLEASE SUPPORT THE OLDIES. PRECIOUS TIME IS WASTED IN KENNELS. We would love to hear from you. Can you offer a home to Lily and Winston, Mavis and Mertle or Coco?
