Meet the Quokka—the “happiest animal on Earth”! These adorable Australian marsupials snack on grass, leaves, and bark, storing extra fat in their tails for tough times.

Fun facts: They climb trees like koalas (up to 5 feet!) for tasty leaves and berries. They hop like rabbits, yet crawl on all fours. They nap upside down—heads resting on their feet!

Sadly, quokkas are vulnerable due to habitat loss, climate change, human encroachment, and other predators. But you can help by supporting conservation efforts to protect their homes!

🌍✨ From Roofs to Roads 🚧♻

Millions of tons of asphalt shingles end up in landfills each year, but innovative companies are changing that. By recycling these shingles, they're transforming them into valuable materials for road construction.

States like Texas and Minnesota are leading the way, using recycled shingles to reduce costs and cut greenhouse gas emissions by up to 15%! 🌱

Supporting asphalt shingle recycling helps pave the way for a sustainable future. 🛣✨

Did you know? A group of jellyfish is called a bloom, swarm, or smack! 🪼
Despite their name, jellyfish aren’t actually fish—they are brainless (have a system of nerves!), boneless invertebrates.

But plastic pollution is putting them at risk. Jellyfish often mistake plastic for food, which harms them and spreads toxins up the food chain. Floating plastic disrupts their habitats, impacting marine biodiversity and releasing harmful chemicals.

Let’s protect our oceans: reduce plastic use and support cleanup efforts to help jellyfish and marine life thrive!

The UK has about 823 million unused tech items, hiding 38,449 tonnes of valuable copper! 🏠💔 These discarded cables and chargers could supply 30% of the copper needed for the UK’s green energy transition by 2030.
As demand for copper grows—especially for renewable energy and electric vehicles—recycling is crucial. ♻️💡 Cables alone could contribute 3,251 tonnes of copper from UK households.
Let’s protect our planet by valuing what we have! Check your long unopened drawers and cupboards then find your nearest recycling facility today. 🙌✨

🌍✨ From brewery waste to beauty! 🍺💧 Did you know that spent grain from beer production can be transformed into biodegradable microbeads for your favorite skincare products?

These innovative microbeads, made from natural ingredients, offer an eco-friendly alternative to harmful plastic microbeads. Unlike traditional microbeads that can take centuries to degrade, these biodegradable beads break down naturally, helping to combat microplastic pollution that threatens our oceans, rivers, and food chain. 🌊💚

The process is not just about creating sustainable beauty products; it’s about contributing to a circular economy. By repurposing spent grain, we reduce waste in the brewing industry while decreasing the demand for virgin plastic materials derived from fossil fuels. This shift not only helps the environment but also creates new economic opportunities within the brewing sector.

Support brands that prioritize sustainability and make a difference! Together, we can pave the way for a cleaner, healthier future—one microbead at a time. 🌱💖

🌿 International Red Panda Day is celebrated on 21st September to raise awareness about the urgent need for red panda conservation!

🌿 These adorable creatures live in the high-altitude temperate forests of Nepal, India, Bhutan, China, and Myanmar (Burma), where they rely on bamboo for 95% of their diet. Fun fact: they have an extra “thumb”—an enlarged bone that helps them grasp bamboo and tree branches! Though classified as carnivores, they rarely eat meat.

🌿 Sadly, red pandas are listed as endangered on the IUCN Red List, with only about 2,500 left in the wild. Habitat loss, illegal trade, and climate change are driving their decline.

🌿 Want to help? Become an advocate, donate to conservation efforts, adopt a red panda, join an eco-trip, or visit to find out more about how you can make a difference!
