We are lucky in Horsforth to have so many Welcome Spaces during the winter months. Welcome Spaces are where people can gather in a warm, safe place to enjoy a free cuppa and a chat. Some Welcome Spaces also offer food and activities.

It was wonderful to attend the reopening of the Ballroom above Horsforth Library recently, what a truly amazing space we have available to us.

As a result of the bad weather forecast for this Saturday we're moving our October market to indoors at St Margaret's Church (LS18 5LA), do come and find us!

We recently delivered the Leeds Together Fund for Horsforth, giving small grants for neighbourhood-based activities that bring the community together 💛

Our community came up with some fantastic activities including the Cragg Community Day, Creative Art Workshop in the Japanese Garden and Drury Field Community Sports Day.

Voluntary Action Leeds have produced a city-wide report of the 140 events which took place, which brought communities together and were attended by over 6,000 people. You can watch a summary video of the success of this fund on their website 👇
