Pain, pressure or discomfort in your tummy could be a sign of ovarian cancer.
It can be caused by something else, but if it’s new, persistent, or doesn’t feel right for you, it’s important to get it checked.

When ovarian cancer comes back after treatment, this is called a recurrence. Sadly, this is something many people with ovarian cancer experience.

If the cancer returns more than 6 months after chemotherapy, it may be described as “platinum-sensitive”. This is a clinical term that can help guide treatment options, but we know hearing it can still feel overwhelming.

If you’re navigating a recurrence, support is available to help you cope with the physical and emotional impact 💙

Use our Hereditary Cancer Risk Checker: https://pulse.ly/aefmx1bova

20% of ovarian cancer cases have a hereditary cause. This can be due to BRCA gene faults, Lynch syndrome or other rarer inherited gene changes.

Worried about inherited risk? Our Hereditary Risk Checker can help you understand your risk and give you clear information to take to your GP.

Most women think Ovarian Cancer is screened for in a Pap smear... but it's not! A pap only screens for cervical cancer. There is NO screening for Ovarian Cancer so we MUST know the symptoms and listen to our lady parts.
If you experience any of the symptoms for more than 2 weeks, make an appointment with your doctor.
Advocate for yourself and ask for an ultrasound of your ovaries-it can help with early detection.

A drug originally developed for lung cancer may help improve ovarian cancer treatment.

New research from Mayo Clinic found that ovarian cancer cells can quickly adapt and resist PARP inhibitors — a common treatment.

But when researchers introduced brigatinib, a lung cancer drug, it helped block that resistance.

The result?

Cancer cells became more vulnerable to treatment — while healthy cells were largely unaffected.

It’s still early, but this kind of research is how breakthroughs happen. Not by starting from scratch, but by finding smarter ways to make existing treatments work better.

A fantastic step forward in ovarian cancer treatment 🩵

A new ovarian cancer treatment just received FDA Fast Track Designation.

It’s called CTIM-76 — and it’s being developed for patients with platinum-resistant ovarian cancer, where treatment options are often limited.

Here’s what makes this important:

CTIM-76 is designed to help the immune system better recognize and attack cancer cells — specifically targeting a protein found on tumors, while leaving healthy tissue unaffected.

The Fast Track designation is given to treatments that show promise in addressing serious conditions with unmet need — and it helps sp*ed up the development and review process.

It’s still early, but this is a meaningful step forward. Especially for patients who have already gone through standard treatments and need more options.
