Hopefully you’re not too busy egg hunting to start collecting sponsors and getting fit for Roundhay Junior Parkrun Talbot Takeover on 17th May! Sponsorship can be collected from friends or family, or they can donate directly via our Just Giving page -

All children at Talbot Primary School are invited to run, jog or walk the 2km Roundhay Junior Parkrun to support our fundraising efforts for new playground equipment and to improve the outdoor spaces.

A fantastic end to Talbot’s World Book Day celebrations! Thank you to all those who donated books, help set up, ran the stall AND a huge thanks to our wonderful Talbot community who did not disappoint! The turnout was incredible and over 200 books went to be re-read and re-loved! 💙📚

Bring your used books into school throughout this week (2-5th March) and drop them in the main school reception. Then come along and pick up some new-to-you bargain books on Friday 6th March. Cash preferred (makes sales much quicker) but card machines will also be available. Happy reading!

We're looking for local businesses to sponsor and display egg shaped clues in their windows over the Easter holiday, for families to take part in The Great Roundhay Egg Hunt. We're hoping to encourage people to visit local shops while raising funds towards the refurbishment of our school playground equipment.
